POSITION SUMMARY:       

Responsible for working in a group environment in coordinating and managing the transition of products/system launches using Casco’s APQP standard.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  1. Diploma or Bachelor degree in Engineering (ME, EE, etc.)

  2. Has  3-5 years in an Automotive or manufacturing environment and similar industry

  3. Problem solving experience

  4. Good troubleshooter and problem solver

  5. Strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical and electromechanical materials and components.

  6. Strong knowledge of circuit and PCB design to meet EMC requirements.

  7. Proficient with circuit simulation tools.

  8. Strong analytical and hands-on skills.

  9. Customer relation experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Handling of the completion of assigned product launch. Elevate issues and barriers.

  2. Handles engineering projects from both the administrative and technical sides. Responsible for the planning and scheduling of the project and the budget.

  3. Provide direct management support in leading launch teams.

  4. Develop and review launch plans with respect to labor, floor space, work flow, and layout with the engineering and operation teams.

  5. Develop, specify, and review vendor specifications and equipment purchase plans with process engineers and launch teams.

  6. Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.

  7. Prepare interim and completion project reports.

  8. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.

  9. Launch projects using Casco’s APQP process.

  10. Weekly/monthly new product introduction review participation.

  11. Maintain and keep working area to meet environmental requirements and regulation compliance.

  12. Define lay out and set up production lines, develop fixtures with external suppliers, and optimize lines

    1. Design, maintain and improve process in manufacturing systems.

  13. Supports Maintenance in machine repair and problem resolution as required. 

  14. Writes and updates work instructions.

  15. Create & Update PFD and PFMEA & assist CP

  16. Utilize the team deliverables to identify risk and develop plans to mitigate (DFMEA, PFMEA’s, Prototype data, etc.)

    1. Introduce new products to assigned customer facilities.

    2. Develop and execute implementation and training plans based on APQP process.

    3. Act as assigned customer focal point and “First Response” contact.
